Small Wins
Professor Amabile, Harvard Business School Professor and Bestselling Author, discovered through her extensive research that seemingly minor work events had a major impact on people’s emotions, perceptions, and motivations. Of these minor work events, the most impactful were "small wins" - incremental progress toward meaningful goals.

The power of small wins in our work life can also be found in our personal life.  When you create goals around the 7 key areas in your life: fitness, finance, family, faith, field, friends and fun, you will see how these small wins add up and create success and happiness.

How do you get started? First you need to have an idea of where you are and where you want to be in each of these areas.  Then you need to figure out how to get to where you want to be.  For this you may need some outside help.  A coach, mentor or guide who can help you see clearly what you want to do, will help you with this step.

Then it's time for action.  Plan the work.  Write down what your steps are to get to your goal. Then each day take three steps toward your goal.  These steps are your small wins.  The more days you follow this plan, the more successful you feel as you see your progress!
